Airtel Wait to continue
"Most awaited" mobile company in our history will keep all of us waiting for another year. Lankans were expecting to benefit from a reduction in their mobile expense from last year with the launch of Airtel. However prior to that we as consumers able to enjoy real benefit in our telephone bills. (atleast we are paying 50% less than what we were used to pay a year ago) With hours of ads in TV & continuous wall like bill boards beside the road all these companies manage to confuse Lankans enough like credit card companies.
Following is what was in papers today.
Airtel as the fifth operator has cleared some issues last month with the existing operators on Interconnection Charges last month.
An industry analyst said the increasing cut throat competition amongst the existing competitors has triggered a price war in the industry. "Airtel's impending launch has aggravated this situation," he added. (as per Sunday Times)
Next step would be to reveal the truth behind these mobile companies' & credit card companies' conscious effort to confuse us.
